Across Realities’ approach to privacy and data handling.
Last updated · September 18, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to Across Realities websites, mobile applications, and related services. It describes our general approach to privacy. For details about a particular app, including its features, permissions, and third-party services, please refer to that app’s privacy policy.

2. Our approach to data
We design our products to process user content on the user’s device wherever practical and to minimize the upload of that content to servers. On-device processing and data minimization are design principles, not a statement that every feature operates entirely offline or that no data is processed by external services.
Camera input, recognized text, photos, audio, and similar content may be used to provide a feature. App settings and preferences may be stored locally. The information involved and any server-side processing depend on the product and feature; please refer to the relevant app’s privacy policy.
3. Third-party services and advertising
Some products may use third-party services such as exchange-rate providers, advertising SDKs, crash or performance tools, hosting services, or other infrastructure providers.
In particular, products that use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may allow Google to collect or receive information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising and related service operations. This third-party processing can occur separately from the on-device processing of core user content.
These providers’ own privacy policies may also apply. The relevant app’s privacy policy explains the services used by that app.
4. Why data is used
Where data is processed, it is used to operate product features, maintain reliability and security, provide optional convenience features, support advertising where applicable, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information. Any upload of core user content to our servers should be described in the relevant product or feature notice.
5. User choice and permissions
Users can generally control permissions such as camera, microphone, photos, or location through device settings. If a permission is denied, some features may be unavailable or limited. Please refer to the relevant app’s privacy policy for available controls and any additional choices associated with server-based features.
6. Retention and deletion
Data stored locally can generally be managed through the app or device settings. What is removed when clearing app data or uninstalling an app depends on the product and operating system. Please refer to the relevant app’s privacy policy for retention periods, deletion methods, and any server-side storage that applies to that app.
7. Future products and cloud features
Some future products or optional features may require server-side storage or processing, for example for accounts, synchronization, backups, collaboration, or cloud-powered services. Before introducing those capabilities, we will update the relevant policy and provide product-specific information about the data involved, its purpose, retention, and available choices.
8. Children’s privacy
Our products are not directed to children under 13 as a primary audience. Please refer to each app’s privacy policy for product-specific information. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to one of our products inappropriately, please contact us.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our products evolve. If we make material changes to how data is processed, especially for new server-side features, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional in-product notice. For questions about privacy or data handling, contact Across Realities at the email address below.
